/facepalm

that is a totally different problem---heroes ALWAYS ignore flags (I have flagged ducky behind me billions of times and have seen him run off in front of me).
ignoring flags is not the same issue as guarding/avoiding combat---

either way
glad they are reverting back.

Yes you did. You're either trolling or have terrible reading comprehension. Voodoo Rage (along with the majority of this thread) was complaining about unflagged heroes on GUARD and you try to counter their complaints by speaking about heroes set to AGGRESSIVE. There is no better example of comparing apples to oranges.

so, did they already release the new and improved patch or it is just the old way still?

my sin hero still doesn't know what a repeating strike is. totally useless skill on a hero. was never used once. still wont use a stance with an attack either, but, meh..

everyone else seems to do what they are told like they should. call a target, they kill that target even if I switch. if anything VQ felt a little easier.

So this was fixed then? Because my heroes still stand around until I unflag them.

Hehe, did you become possessed somewhere towards the end of that sentence?

Hero AI still feels worse than before. I'm finding their response times for bip'ing and cleaning is twice or three times slower than before, particularly with shatter & convert even when it's they're only hex removals in the party.

I'm not seeing any problems with my heroes' BiPs.

You're probably just more conscious of observing the AI now than you were before the update, so it just seems as though there is a worse response time.

I went back to look at it again in slavers which is where I noticed this first. It definitely seems like the usage priority for hex removal has been altered; before, they'll use convert hex and/or shatter hex pretty much immediately regardless, but now they're reluctant to clean even though there are tons of mobs adjacent and/or I've been stacked by hexes.

Tahlkora with that hex cleaning elité, got stacked by 7 hexes in Sepulcher and she preferred to pick her nose or heal a pet.

It's very, very hard to conclusively test hero skill casting priorities. In the end 95% of it comes up to random chance.

My heros definitely "seem" to be acting strangely, as does the foe AI. But like someone earlier said, maybe we're just paying closer attention to them now and noticing things we never noticed before. -shrug- Heros seem slow to respond and foes in NM seem to run around randomly a lot more than they used to.
